This beautiful Jaguar XK8 coupe, in rare Pacific blue, has been owned by the same person for the last 9 years (garage stored). It has been frequently but lightly used and has had all the XK8 age related foibles sorted and is in full working order and in excellent mechanical condition.

The car has a full MOT until 27 March 2021. Its previous 4 previous owners regularly maintained it and there is a large paperwork file. It has 4 virtually new tyres fitted and a Parrot mobile phone system installed. A separate AUX lead connector and phone charging point are installed in the arm rest. A 6 CD Changer is in the boot.

There are two working keys and fobs and the additional valet key. Also present is a space saver spare wheel

Also fitted is a Prinz Multipoint Autogas (LPG) system fitted. This is in addition to the large petrol tank and extends the cars range by an additional 150 miles. You can switch between gas and petrol (at the touch of a button) at any driving speed and there is no loss of performance. The kit was fitted at 77k miles and is fully certified and has been serviced. Running on LPG this car returns equivalent fuel consumption of approx 40mpg with no loss of V8 performance.

The high mileage is not a issue on this car as it had a professional engine rebuild at 149k miles in 2012 after the plastic thermostat housing split and the engine suffered overheating. The rebuild allowed all the rubber hoses and plastics to be replaced on the engine before re-installing in the car.

There has been a rolling program of restoration over the last 9 years :
