Google Review : "In the end I came away with a car that's just perfect for me. I will be keeping a keen eye on the cars they have in the future."

2007 MASERATI GRANSPORT MC-VICTORY

Exceptional example of the exceptionally rare Maserati Gransport MC-Victory, presented in Blu Victory paintwork with Nero leather and alcantara trimmed carbon fibre bucket seats. Superb specialist history to back up presentation of this car to the highest standard. Superb and engaging V8 engine with Cambiocorsa Sports gearshift.

Twice magazine featured (Modern Classics June 2019, 7 pages and Auto Italia February 2021, 2 pages and front cover). For those not familiar with the differences between the normal Gransport and Gransport MC-Victory, the excellent Modern Classics article written by Nathan Chadwick is well worth a read, but in short; the MC-Victory was built to honour the Maserati MC12 winning the 2005 FIA GT championship with features that link it to the Maserati MC12, and enhance the driving dynamics. Externally. blue carbon fibre front and rear spoilers and enamelled Italian flag recessed into the front wings set it apart. The enlarged front splitter generates more downforce at high speeds, as do the extended side skirts, modifications which improve the car's high speed stability and dynamic responsiveness. The interior carbon fibre components are in blue to match the exterior spoilers.

Most notable are the fitment of carbon fibre bucket seats, closely matching those found in the Ferrari Enzo, and a quicker steering rack which completely changes the driving experience. In Maserati’s own words at the time of the MC-Victory launch - “Through an enlarged front splitter and extended side skirts, Maserati has engineered the GranSport MC-Victory to produce more downforce at high speeds, improving the car's high speed stability and dynamic response. The car's agility is further enhanced by even more direct and precise steering, creating a driving experience reminiscent of the Maserati MC12, and unmatched by any car in its own class.”

This example benefits from the (£1645) Carbon Kit option with carbon door sill trims, door panel trims and steering wheel in blue carbon fibre (as well as the rear boot spoiler and blue carbon front splitter). Other important options are Xenon Headlights, Auto-Dim Rear View Mirror and Reverse Parking Sensors (also totalling around £1645).

Copy of original sales invoice from Maranello Egham from 16th March 2007.

Externally the paintwork is Blu Victory, exclusive to this model but not always specified, complemented with Rosso brake calipers. Interior is Nero leather and alcantara seats with blue stitching.

Only 180 MC-Victory models were made worldwide, this example is numbered 157/ 180. LHD supply considerably outnumbered RHD and we understand only 12 RHD cars remain in the UK.

This is one of our personal cars (acquired August 2018) and is offered as a private sale but we would welcome and encourage any Pre-Purchase Inspection. I can make the car available at SportsItalia near Southampton for example or a prospective buyer could talk to Myles Aldous at Emblem Sports Cars in Poole who has personally worked extensively on the car (see history below). We also have our own ramp faciilities here. Four prior owners (though we understand this was in fact only 2 individuals with the car registered in personal and company names and various times).

In our ownership, over £11K has been spent on maintenance, mostly at Emblem Sports Cars. The owner immediately prior also spent around £11K with Emblem.

The car was fully rust-proofed on taking ownership with no rust at all found on strip-down and with subsequent inspections and top-ups. The car is also ceramic coated and benefits from a full front-end and sills PPF application.

All the above work was carried not as part of a restoration, since none was required, but for the love of this special car and to make it as good as it could be.
